Comments: This is a really good Main Tank set because there are very few really useful group buff sets for Main Tanks to use. This set is good because you apply the debuff to the enemy and as a Main Tank you are always focussing on the main boss almost always.
This is an essential group set since the benefit it brings to a group is huge, when you apply all 3 weaknesses this accumulates to 15% increased critical damage done to that enemy.
Sometimes it is used by a Damage Dealer because in reality this does not decrease the DPS of a Damage Dealer by very much, the only reason it has become a Tank set is due to the CP2.0 system making sustain really good and changes to penetration making Alkosh/Torugs not required leaving Tanks with very few useful sets that are worth using.
If you are a newer Tank then using this would not be advised as it’s a set that requires quite a lot of micro management. You need to be able to keep this active basically 100% of the time otherwise your group will lose a lot of damage. For newer Tanks it would be more than acceptable to use something like Worm in place of this and have a damage dealer occupy this set.
This is not really a set you would use for Dungeon/4-Man content, mostly just for Trials. When utilising this set for Trials often you’ll need to use some kind of elemental weapon glyph which needs to be on an Infused Staff meaning you won’t be able to use a Crusher enchant. In this situation the Healers/Other Tank should take the responsibility for that.
