Welcome to The Tank Club: ESO Kyne’s Aegis Off Tank Build.
Kyne’s Aegis is a DLC 12-person trial located in Western Skyrim. It was the ninth trial that was introduced into The Elder Scrolls Online with the Greymoor Chapter in June 2020.
This build is an Off Tank build for Kyne’s Aegis which includes Normal and Hardmode options along with a safe setup along with a 3rd Healer Hybrid setup. In this trial the Off Tank has very little to do so you can setup as a 3rd Healer to make this trial easier for your group and add some group support, this is especially important when doing Hardmode. If you are not setting up as a healer then a Brittle Tank is another option.

Kyne’s Aegis Notes
Class
Any class is good for this trial. Necro, Warden and Templar would be ideal for the buffs and healing ability as you typically should help with healing as the Off Tank.
Race
Pretty much any race is playable here.
Mundus
You could use The Atronach mundus stone for the increased Magicka Recovery or The Mage for increased healing.
Attributes
You want to have a good amount of Magicka here. Due to the small amount of Tanking you need to do, 35-38k Health, 22k+ Stamina and 24k+ Magicka would be the most beneficial stats to aim for.
Food
Bewitched Sugar Skulls could be used on add pulls and fights where you are Tanking enemies. You might want to switch to Citrus Filet when healing or not having to really Tank any enemies or even Smoked Bear Haunch for bigger recoveries.
Potions
You can use regular Tri-Stat potions here, but while healing you may want to use Spell Power Potions.
