Comments:
The Saxhleel Champion set works well with Necromancer Tanks, particularly for leveraging the combination of Major Force and Colossus/Major Vulnerability. It also pairs effectively with Arcanist Tanks using Resonating Glyphic, Sorcerer Tanks with Storm Atronach, and Dragonknight Tanks utilizing Magma Shell. Moreover, it can be used by all classes in conjunction with Barrier for additional group safety.
While not essential for all content, Saxhleel Champion shines in trial environments. It is somewhat underwhelming in dungeons and arenas but reaches its peak usefulness during trials. The primary advantage of this set is its ability to provide the Major Force buff, which usually comes from Aggressive Horn, while allowing you to use other Ultimates. For instance, a Necromancer can use the Colossus Ultimate to gain both Major Vulnerability and Major Force, achieving a powerful 2-for-1 effect. Other classes might use Barrier to similar effect.
One downside to this set is the slight DPS loss due to the lack of resource gain from Aggressive Horn, which boosts Magicka and Stamina by 10%, contributing to DPS. The most effective strategy is to alternate the Saxhleel Champion Ultimate between two uses of Aggressive Horn, ensuring you benefit from both the stat boosts and Major Force, along with the specific benefits of the Ultimate you’ve chosen.
Saxhleel Champion is particularly beneficial when progressing through trials or when your group struggles with survivability. Using a defensive Ultimate like Barrier allows you to provide Major Force while significantly enhancing group safety, making this set advantageous for progression. Additionally, it can extend the uptime of Major Force if you can build Ultimate quickly, potentially offering a longer duration than Aggressive Horn.
