Comments:
This set is useful for people who don’t main a Tank but want to get through random dungeons and pledges, for Tanks who play at a very casual level who just want to chill out, log in do some daily’s, no stress and want an easy to use set to help them through content, and for Tanks who are happy at where they are in terms of their Tanking ability and the content they are doing and not looking to progress onwards to more difficult content.

This set provides a ton of healing and some sustain for DKs from the Combustion Passive – the more enemies, the more healing and sustain, it’s perfect for dungeon content especially if you fit the description above.

Leeching does however hinder your ability to actually learn how to Tank and makes it difficult for people to progress onto harder content at a later time, people have an extremely hard time moving away from using Leeching because the set can basically carry you through content leaving you with very little to do.

It can severely harm your ability in learning to Tank and teaches you bad habits which hold you back later on if you decide you want to do different content. If you want to learn as a Tank, you need to learn when to heavy attack for sustain, you need to be able to react to high incoming damage by self-healing, you need to be comfortable dropping block to adjust positioning and allow resources to regenerate, you need to know when its valuable to Roll Dodge.

This set can basically be replaced by having good magicka recovery, healing yourself and heavy attacking, on a DK just spamming Igneous Shield. It’s a 5-piece set designed for healing, a lot of the time you can just trust your healer and have self-heal ready for an emergency, you don’t need 100% constant healing and the majority of your Leeching ticks are wasted in over-healing which is when you are healing while at full health. If you need a healing set, try using a healing monster set first.
