Starting OSRS in 2025

I finally started old school RuneScape in 2025 and for some reason I chose to make a

Defense Pure, a build that almost nobody touches and so I just had to try it. The big problem

is there's barely any up-to-date information about this type of build and for a game this

old the guides are either ancient, wrong or completely contradictory. So as a brand new

old school RuneScape player I've basically had to reverse engineer the build from scratch

Right now I'm broke, clueless, I'm kicking monks and seagulls for crumbs of XP

and trying to figure out how exactly to play and sort out this kind of character. But honestly, this is what makes it fun

I do love the theory of crafting side of things. I'm learning the ins and outs of old school runescape

while leveling one of the most mentally questionable accounts that you can create

The goal is very simple, to get 99 defense. So let's see how far I can get before this game absolutely breaks me
