The Raven Universe's transportation system offers players a range of options for traversing
0:10
the world, each with unique advantages and customization opportunities. From the versatile mowers to the capacity-focused wagons and customizable ships, players can
0:21
tailor their transportation to their specific needs and strategies, enriching their overall
0:25
gameplay experience. The first method of transport is mounts. Mowers are currently the only mountable creatures
0:32
in the Raven Universe, serving as the primary mode of transportation. Players receive their
0:37
first mower early in their journey as a reward for the Mortal Enemies quest in Rona Woods
0:44
While players can own dozens of mowers, only one can be used at a time. Additional mowers
0:48
can be acquired through purchases or by breeding them on your farmland
0:53
To equip a mower, press Y to access the transport menu, go down to the mower section where you
0:58
are able to see the current equipped mower, and to change the mount, open the mount menu
1:02
and select the new mount to equip it as your active mount
1:06
When we look at the mower stats, firstly we've got strength. This affects the speed when
1:10
pulling a trade car, so stronger mowers can move trade packs much, much faster. With speed
1:16
it will determine the riding speed of your mower. Height and weight are purely aesthetical
1:21
and don't affect the performance of the mower. Tier is derived from breeding, higher tiers
1:26
yield better stats. Breeding limit indicates how many times a mower is able to breed, which
1:31
is essential for the breeding profession and the process of breeding and creating new mounts
1:37
When we look at the bond level, this represents your mower's current level of bond with you
1:42
A higher bond level will provide more benefits and bonuses. To increase the bond level, ensure
1:47
that you feed the mower rations, and then when you ride the mower, it will increase
1:51
the bond level. So long as your mount doesn't go hungry, it will continue to gather experience
1:56
while riding it. You can also feed your mower treats. These are earned from supply bags
2:01
which are earned through killing enemies crafted in gathering, and these will give a boost
2:05
of experience to your bond level. Mowers can sometimes possess different abilities, such
2:10
as dash and sprint. The likelihood and rank of these abilities will improve with higher
2:15
tier mowers. The color of the mower is determined by breeding, with numerous possible combinations
2:21
and varying rarity. Some colors are extremely rare, occurring at a 1 in 100,000 chance
2:27
Higher breeding skills increases the chance of obtaining rarer colored mowers. And then
2:31
we have mower equipment. This will enhance your mower's performance, and this equipment
2:36
will improve strength, speed, and reduce the chance of being dismounted. Equipment can
2:41
be crafted or bought from the market, and then to create a new barding for your mower
2:45
you need to obtain the headgear and a saddle. Combine these items with the relevant thread
2:51
by visiting NPC Jarya at the south exit of Ravencrest. To equip the new barding once
2:57
it's crafted, go to a safe zone and press Y to open the transport menu, and then go
3:02
to the barding section and select the new barding. Another transport option is wagons
3:08
Wagons are essential for land-based transport of trade packs, balancing speed and capacity
3:14
They offer options for faster travel with limited carrying potential, or slower travel
3:19
with higher capacity. To obtain your first wagon, you will need to complete the Lighthouse
3:24
Keeper quest in Barnsley near Rona Woods. Once you have completed this quest, use the
3:29
parts that obtained from this quest to craft a wagon at a wagon crafter NPC. There is one
3:34
in Barnsley as well, or near the docks in Ravencrest. Once you've obtained a wagon
3:39
you then need to equip it. So to equip a wagon, go to the transport menu, scroll to the wagon
3:44
section and click on the wagon box to equip a wagon. To create a wagon so that you can
3:48
use it, hold control and right click on your character. A menu will appear, and click create
3:54
a wagon. To attach the wagon to your mower, you also need to hold control and then right
3:59
click on the wagon again, and then select the appropriate option to get on wagon. When
4:04
you are finished using your wagon, always remove the wagon to prevent any unnecessary
4:08
issues. When we look at our transport menu, we can see various different stats regarding
4:13
our wagon. These include the health, which is the total health of the wagon because wagons
4:17
can be attacked in PvP areas. Weight is purely aesthetical and doesn't affect the performance
4:24
And then the trade pack number is the capacity that this wagon has for carrying trade packs
4:29
Higher tier wagons can be crafted and customised, and you can also attach various cosmetic skins
4:34
to a wagon also. Our final method of transport is ships. Now ships are exclusive means of
4:41
sea travel offering extensive customisation options. Components such as hulls, cabins, sails and auxiliary can be interchanged to create the vessel of your dreams, whether
4:52
it be a large warship, a nimble combat craft or a fishing vessel. To obtain your first
4:58
ship, you will need to do the Mountain King quest, and this can be found in Tarnag Mountain
5:03
which is south east of Glademire Fort. Once you then complete the quest, you will obtain
5:07
the ship parts, which you then need to take to a ship crafter to turn them into a ship
5:13
With this starter ship, you are not able to carry trade packs, but it can be upgraded
5:18
You can upgrade the components of your ship to suit your needs, to focus either on cargo
5:22
capacity, speed, combat effectiveness or fishing. So when we look at upgrading the ship components
5:29
firstly you've got the hull. Now the hull affects health, speed, trade pack capacity
5:34
and auxiliary slots. With the sail, this primarily affects speed and may also include
5:38
additional speed based perks. Cabin influences things like fishing skill damage, trade pack
5:44
capacity or cannon cooldown depending on which direction you want to take your ship. Auxiliary
5:50
gives you additional attachments that enhance various ship attributes like health and speed
5:55
When we look at the ship stats, the speed determines the sailing speed of your ship
5:59
Health is the total health of your ship because you can be attacked while in the sea. The
6:03
sea areas are always PVP active zones. Weight reduces the speed of your ship. Trade packs
6:08
is your carrying capacity for trade packs. There are a range of higher tier components
6:12
that can be crafted to enhance your ships performance and it really just depends on
6:17
whether you want to focus on fishing, trade packs or sea based combat
