This RavenQuest Arcanist Build combines Wizardry, Witchcraft, and Spiritual for explosive burst damage and deadly DoTs. Perfect for PvP and Aether Rifts, this easy-to-play build will help you dominate enemies and clear rifts fast, making it the best choice for early-game PvP success!
RavenQuest offers countless build possibilities, but if you want to dominate Aether Rifts and small-scale PvP, the Arcanist is an explosive, high-DPS choice. This magic-heavy build excels at stacking powerful damage-over-time effects from the Witchcraft archetype, then unleashing devastating burst damage with Wizardry. Meanwhile, Spiritual provides shields and healing-over-time, ensuring you stay in the fight longer. Whether you’re melting enemies in PvP or clearing rifts with ease, this Arcanist build is your key to victory!
Put most points into Intelligence for the increased spell power, spell defence, mana regeneration and healing power.
Put some points into Vitality for the increased Health and Defence.
Use Wisdom points for additional mana sustain if needed.
You are able to upgrade skills to give them reduced cooldown and increase the RavenCard rarity that is attached to the skill.
Upgrade Shackles of Pain and Erupt.
Weapon: Sceptre + Buckler Shield (Staves can be used for PvE).
Armor: Cloth (PvP) Plate (PvE). Cloth is better when doing PvP, if you intend to use this build for PvE only then go with Plate.
Amulet: The best Rangers Company amulet you can get with Attack Power, Precision and/or Impact.
Rings: Any from Quests or Rangers Company with Intelligence, Vitality or Wisdom.
Gear Stats: Spell Power is the main focus, try to have this stat on all gear. Try to get gear also with Precision but Impact can be used also.
Enchantments: Intelligence Enchants on Gear and Attack Power on Weapon.
Consumables: Make sure to use all consumables including Baked Goods with Increase Attack Power, Drinks to Boost Mana and Health Regeneration, Meals to enhance your Primary Attributes and Whetstones to Increase Attack Power.
So now you have the build set up, you need to know how to use it right? So the focus here is to get all your DoTs applied to the target. It’s a good idea to line up your skills on your skill bar in order that you are going to cast them. If you are going into an Aether Rift, make sure you start this rotation with your Aether meter filled. Save your Barrier for when you hit 50% health and then cast it with Regenerate. Use Force Push to escape and give yourself some space to recover if and when its needed.
Combustion
Pyroblast
Shackles of Pain
Leech
Curse
Erupt
Arcane Pulse x2
This is the general build up rotation. At this point you should have done a decent amount of damage and setup your target, take a few seconds to retreat, recover and cast Regenerate then wait for cooldowns to reset.
Curse
Erupt
Leech
Arcane Pulse x2
Combustion
Pyroblast
Death Touch
This part is an execute rotation, using this takes the target low so you can finish them off with impactful hits from Combustion, Pyroblast and Death Touch.
