RavenQuest – Archetype Cap Raised & Boss Bounty System Arrives in Patch 1.0.9.5
RavenQuest’s latest update, Patch 1.0.9.5, brings significant progression changes and new PvE incentives. Archetypes can now reach Level 80, unlocking additional Skill and Attribute Points for deeper build customisation and more powerful endgame combinations.
The patch also introduces a Boss Bounty system, where Grandmaster Maxxor assigns one of a dozen rotating bosses each week. These challenges are designed to reward both new players—by offering groupable goals—and veterans looking for repeatable loot.
4Story: The Original – 2008 MMORPG Relaunches on Steam
The classic MMORPG 4Story has returned to Steam as 4Story: The Original, a version intended to recapture the game’s 2008-era charm. However, it’s not quite a pure nostalgia trip—this “original” version includes modern autoplay systems and legacy monetisation, such as pay-to-win gear enhancements introduced over the past decade.
While some players are enjoying the familiar environments like the Core Region and Castle Ardir, others are voicing concern over how aggressively monetised the endgame now feels.

Lord of the Rings Online – 32-Bit Servers Retiring on 31 August
Standing Stone Games has officially scheduled the shutdown of all 32-bit LOTRO servers for August 31, 2025. Players on legacy worlds like Evernight and Brandywine-Classic must transfer to 64-bit servers to retain characters and access new content.
The transition is free and available now, with Standing Stone promising performance and feature improvements that take full advantage of 64-bit support.
Dungeons & Dragons Online – Three New 64-Bit Servers Launch July 9
Dungeons & Dragons Online will open three new 64-bit servers on July 9:
- Oerik and Thrane for US players

These will join the previously launched Cormyr as part of the official 64-bit rollout. All 32-bit servers will shut down on August 31, and free character transfers are currently available to all players.
Apogea – Steam Open Playtest Now Live
Medieval-fantasy MMORPG Apogea has entered public testing via Steam. Developed by Trinitas, the game features a seamless open world with PvE and PvP content, vocation-based progression (Knight, Mage, Rogue), and an extensive skill tree system.
The developers emphasize a no pay-to-win philosophy, aiming to deliver a competitive but fair sandbox with player-driven trading and combat. The test will continue through next week with frequent balance updates and bug patches based on player feedback.
