Blue Protocol: Star Resonance Launches July 17 in China
Shanghai Bokura Network confirmed that the Chinese version of Blue Protocol—titled Star Resonance—will officially go live on July 17. Built on Bandai Namco’s foundation but tailored with new systems and long-term service plans, the version introduces a flexible multi-class system, standard holy trinity roles, dungeon crawls, and seasonal content every three months. Producer Dai Yi emphasized player connection, guild communities, and lifestyle activities like housing and professions as core pillars. A global version is still slated for late 2025.
Elder Scrolls Online: Console Mods Are Now Live
Add-ons are no longer just for PC players. Zenimax has officially rolled out player-made mod support for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 users. Console players can now access curated UI improvements, combat meters, quest enhancements, and more—offered through a streamlined in-game interface. Black Desert Console Upgrade Arrives June 26
Pearl Abyss has deployed the long-awaited native client for Black Desert on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The upgrade delivers faster load times, better frame pacing, and improved asset streaming across the board. Legacy players from Xbox One and PS4 can transfer their progress seamlessly. Monmate Master: Idle Adventure Launches On Mobile
Riding the coattails of Palworld’s success, Monmate Master: Idle Adventure brings creature-collecting to mobile. The game blends autobattle idle mechanics with an overworld-based strategy layer where party formation dictates battle outcomes. Monmates can be befriended, levelled, and assigned camp tasks for passive rewards. While not a 1:1 Palworld clone, it’s the latest in a growing wave of monster-raising MMOs hitting mobile storefronts.

Old-school MMO revival Monsters & Memories is holding a community alpha test starting Friday, June 28. Hytale Officially Cancelled
Hypixel Studios’ ambitious Minecraft-inspired MMO Hytale has been officially cancelled. Studio co-founder “Noxy” confirmed that development is ceasing and the studio will be shut down over the next few months. It’s a bitter end to one of the genre’s most-hyped titles, with development having stretched across five years and multiple delays.
