Jagex has released a full behind-the-scenes video for “Varlamore: The Final Dawn,” highlighting the game’s upcoming Master-tier finale. Players can expect a unique AFK-friendly gemstone crab encounter where top damage dealers can mine gems right off its back. The video also teases the Doom of Mokhaiotl boss fight, with multiple difficulty tiers and heavy mechanics. A new fletching activity tied to forest spirits adds another layer of depth, while the Summer Sweep-Up continues with Slayer updates, expect expanded block lists, point adjustments, and tweaks to tasks and early unlocks.
Tibia – Weapon Proficiency System Adds 400+ Skill Trees
Tibia’s summer update has launched a brand-new Weapon Proficiency system, giving over 400 weapons their own individual skill trees. By using a specific weapon in combat, players gain XP that unlocks up to seven perks. Perks are player-choice-based, allowing full customisation for different playstyles. This system caters to both new and veteran players, with perks for every level range. Fully maxed weapons grant achievements and titles as bragging rights. The update also adds new zones, monsters, and a looming vampiric threat.
Black Desert Mobile – New Class, PvP Mode & Cross-Region Market Incoming
At Heidel Ball, Pearl Abyss confirmed the upcoming release of the Seonin class (Awakened Dosa) and the Seoul region for BDO Mobile on August 5. Expect new shrine bosses, a family-wide character tag system, and the Martial God PvP mode to replace older PvP systems. Fantastic Pixel Castle has shared new details on the contraption system coming to Project Ghost’s blue zones. Since resources don’t carry out, it’s a use-it-or-lose-it system. Experimental contraptions like buff shrines and resurrection graveyards are in development, giving players creative tools to tackle content their way.
Elder Scrolls Online – Whitestrake’s Mayhem Returns This Week
PvP fans, prepare for battle! Whitestrake’s Mayhem returns on Thursday, July 24 and runs until August 6. ESO players will benefit from double Alliance Points, XP, and Tel Var Stone drops across PvP zones, with a new cosmetic—the Truth in Wisdom outfit—available via Pelinal’s Boon Boxes. Participation is simple: grab the event quest from the in-game store and take part in any PvP activity, including Battlegrounds, Cyrodiil, and the Imperial City.
New World – Outpost Rush Disabled to Promote Capture the Flag
Amazon is pushing all PvP attention toward its new Capture the Flag mode for New World: Aeternum’s Season 9.
