Changing Hotkeys
You won’t find an option in the setting for changing hotkeys.
Instead you must right-click on a skill, press “Edit Hotkey” then press the key you wish to switch it to and click apply. Be careful what you change hotkeys to, since you don’t have a hotkey menu, there’s a chance if you unbind a key you might not be able to reassign it.
Changing Instance/Channel
When grouping up with friends you may not be in the same “channel”. These are different instances of the same map on the same server which are designed to try and alleviate overcrowding. You might also find that you are in a very crowded channel and completing quests and tasks is impossible, especially when many people are doing the same quests.
Simple look at your mini map in the top right corner of the screen – you’ll see a number 1 to 4, click onto that to open the Switch Channel menu, select the channel you want to change to and press Join Channel. This will only work when you’re in a protection area such as in the main city of Ravencrest.
Selling Junk
Your inventory will quickly fill up and very few of the merchants will be willing to buy your junk!
Look for Xeniad in main city Ravencrest, near the gate to the Slums. They will buy all junk and creature products that currently don’t have any useful function in the game.
Where is the Farm?
There’s no map marker for the community farm which is a great place for players without a home do work on their farming and husbandry. It’s found in Ravencrest to the right side of the city, look for the brown square of land on your map to locate it.
To place new items in your farm, go to the compass/mini map in the top right of the screen and look for the little “Toggle house mode” button which allows you to buy crops and animals.
Quest Icons
When you finish your current quest, sometimes it’s not truly clear what to do next. Simply look at your map and locate the orange exclamation marks which are the current available quests.
As you complete quests and increase your level, more quests become unlocked. You may have to zoom your map out and look around to find the current available quests.
Range Damage
It’s almost essential to have some access to range damage early on. This is so you can kite enemies and receive less damage, hit enemies that are hard to reach but also due to some enemies running away from you.
It also helps in highly populated areas if you can range damage enemies since only the player to gain the last hit on an enemy will be rewarded with loot which often includes essential quest items that you need to complete and progress a quest.
If you have to run and melee every enemy, you will be waiting a while to finish certain quests if you’re competing with other players.
Jensen’s Key
Jensen has lost his key on one of the early quests you’re sent to do, you can find it by pressing on the bush nearby and you’ll obtain the key.
