There are a number of different options you can use for buff food and drinks as a Tank in The Elder Scrolls Online.

Bewitched Sugar Skulls

Increase Max Health by 4620, Max Stamina and Magicka by 4250, and Health Recovery by 462 for 2 hours. These effects are scaled based on your level.

Tri-Stat Food

There are many types of food similar to this, you have the Crown Food that is obtained from daily login rewards and a number of purple quality tri-stat foods. Using this type of food increases your max stats which is really nice for a Tank however you might benefit more from other food or drink options that provide sustain benefits.

Bewitched Sugar Skulls is the best tri-stat food since it has the addition of Health Recovery. It can be difficult to obtain the recipie since its expensive and only available during the Witches Festival event in October each year.

Ingredients to craft: 2x Bervez Juice, 5x Flour, 5x Honey, 2x Scrib Jelly, 2x Columbine.

Orzorga’s Red Frothgar

Increase Max Health by 5395 and Magicka Recovery by 493 for 2 hours.

This food is a really nice sustain food. It gives you a huge amount of Max Health plus a lot of Magicka Recovery.

The downside is your max stats aside from Health might be quite low, so especially with your Stamina you will not be able to block prolong periods of time with a really low stamina amount. You will however be able to cast a lot of Magicka abilities with the additional recovery.

Ingredients to craft: 1x Comberry 1x Honey 1x, Mint, 1x Clear Water

Orzorga’s Smoked Bear Haunch

Increase Max Health by 4312, Health Recovery by 406 and Stamina and Magicka Recovery by 369 for 2 hours.

This is a great sustain food for more advanced Tanks.

You will have all three recoveries which is good for Tanks who don’t block often and know when to time their blocking only for hard mechanics. If you block a lot then this is not a good food since you’ll lose the Stamina Recovery. This food is also very expensive to craft and buy which makes it less appealing than some other options.

Ingredients to craft: 1x Frost Mirriam, 1x Perfect Roe, 1x Red Meat, 1x Tomato, 1x White Cap.

Jewels of Misrule

Increase Stamina and Magicka Recovery by 357 and Max Health by 3927 for 2 hours. These effects are scaled based on your level.

This is a cheaper alternative to the Smoked Bear.

Ingredients to craft: 1x Bervez Juice, 1x Lotus, 1x Mint, 1x Rose, 1x Columbine
