ESO Hel Ra Citadel Trial
Welcome to The Tank Club: ESO Hel Ra Citadel Trial Guide for Tanks.
Hel Ra Citadel is a base game 12-person trial located in Craglorn. It was one of the first three trials introduced in The Elder Scrolls Online with the Craglorn update in May 2014. Originally this trial was scaled to Veteran Rank 12 (CP120 basically) and only had a normal and a hardmode but was later updated with the One Tamriel update in October 2016 to include a Veteran version and increased to CP160 difficulty.
This trial has 4 bosses. You only kill 3 bosses however as 2 of those bosses requires the group to split up and each group kills a boss. The Trial has a normal, veteran and a last boss Hardmode.
This guide will focus on the Tank role and the mechanics and strategies for successfully completing this trial.

ESO Hel Ra Citadel Trial Tank Guide
Hel Ra Citadel is a one Tank Trial and in this trial, it’s not mechanically challenging but you will have to deal with some big hits on the first boss and the last boss does a lot of damage in a short time with the “Thousand Cuts” mechanic. For this reason you should expect to endure some long block phases and you’ll need enough health, resistances, block mitigation and sustain to survive through those mechanics.
