Comments:
The Turning Tide set is exceptionally powerful in all situations, particularly during boss fights, when combined with the Nazaray or Archdruid Devyric monster sets. This set allows you to apply Major Vulnerability with a base 66.66% uptime with minimal effort, replicating the debuff typically provided by a Necromancer’s Colossus ultimate, without the need for ultimate usage.
To proc the set, you need to block an attack and then bash, making it straightforward to use. It is advisable to equip this set on both bars to ensure it can always be activated on cooldown. Once you block a hit, you have 10 seconds to perform the bash, providing flexibility and timing control.
Turning Tide is highly effective in dungeons and trials, enabling you to activate it on nearly every add pull, ensuring it’s ready for the next encounter. During boss fights, you can maintain a 66.66% uptime on Major Vulnerability. However, when used with Nazaray or Archdruid, you can achieve a 100% uptime if timed correctly.
When paired with Nazaray, it’s strategic to save your ultimate during add pulls (and use a different monster set). Upon reaching a boss, take a hit, bash to proc Turning Tide, and then use a 500 Ultimate Aggressive Horn with the Nazaray monster set, providing over 30 seconds of Major Vulnerability.
With Archdruid, you can maintain a 100% Major Vulnerability uptime by yourself. Proc Turning Tide, and once its effect wears off, use a heavy attack to activate Archdruid. After that effect ends, bash the enemy to proc Turning Tide again, and repeat the process.
Overall, the Turning Tide set is incredibly strong for both dungeons and trials, offering a reliable and high-impact method to maintain Major Vulnerability on enemies, significantly boosting your group’s DPS.
