Guardian Druid Tier Bonuses

Let’s take a look at the Guardian Druid Tier Bonuses in the World of Warcraft 10.1 update!

Bear may have its flaws in the talent tree, but their tier set is looking to make up some of those shortcomings, honestly, bears have a lot to look forward to in 10.1

2pc: When you take damage, Mangle and Thrash damage and Rage generation are increased by 15% for 8s and you heal for 6% of damage taken over 8s

Oooof.. there’s a lot to unpack here. The increase to Mangle and Thrash damage is of obviously welcome, and since we’re always taking damage as a tank spec, this buff is going to be up 100% of the time in mythic plus. Another great value is the rage generation increase, 15% is significant, more rage means more Ironfur cast, which results in a lower cooldown of Incarnation and more After the Wildfire healing, all around really good things. Add on top of all of that, you gain a stagger effect for 6% of the damage you take as healing, this add a layer of defensive capability that guardian has been lacking. This 2 piece packs a wallop with lots of good offensive and defensive bonuses.

4pc: Maul/Raze damage is increased by 20% and casting Ironfur or Maul/Raze increases your maximum hp by 3% for 12s, stacking up to 5 times.
A straight damage increase to Maul/Raze means our three physical rotational abilities all have damage bumps, which is of course much welcomed. Adding onto that a 15% maximum HP maintenance buff that is rotationally easy to maintain since Ironfur is off the global cooldown and we cast plenty of them, as well as Maul/Raze being a core rotational ability, this buff will see easy maximum combat uptime, while more health can be a boring tier ability, 15% is nothing to scoff at and adds to the meat shields we can be.
