This monster set could in theory have a 100% uptime now as it has a 6 second uptime and the effects can reoccur every 6 seconds, but that would be entirely RNG because of the 10% proc chance.
You will gain a heal per second for 6 seconds that will increase based on your Max Health and whether you have other healing buffs active but the heal is just an added bonus for this set. The main reason you would use this is for the Major Vitality which increases your healing received, this is particularly useful when you have a lot of health, and you take a lot of damage in fights such as Kyne’s Aegis.
The downside to this set is that it’s not on a timer, it is a chance-based set, so you get 10% chance to activate it. It procs when you take damage and as a Tank, you’ll usually take damage a lot of the time, so it has a reasonably good chance to proc, but the uptime just isn’t good enough and you can’t rely on the set to provide the Major Vitality buff at the times you most need it.
In terms of self-healing, you would get a better result from using the Puncturing Remedy set.
